These terms cover fencing work carried out by South Texas Fence Works in McAllen and the surrounding Rio Grande Valley area.
Estimates. Estimates are free and given in writing before work begins. They are based on what is visible at the time of measuring. Where conditions underground or behind an existing fence turn out to be different, we stop and tell you before continuing, with the revised cost, rather than adding it afterwards.
Property lines. We build where you tell us to build. Confirming the location of your property line is the property owner's responsibility, and we will always recommend checking it before a fence goes in rather than after a neighbour asks.
Permits and restrictions. Some cities and many HOA neighbourhoods restrict fence height, style and setback. We will raise anything we are aware of, but the final responsibility for permits and deed restrictions rests with the property owner.
Materials. Wood is a natural product. Colour, grain and small knots vary between boards and between deliveries, and new wood will not match weathered wood on day one. This is normal and is not a defect.
Scheduling. Fencing is outdoor work. Rain, ground conditions and concrete cure times move dates, and we would rather move a date than set posts in mud. We will tell you as soon as we know.
Payment. Terms are agreed in writing with the estimate before work starts.

We come out, measure the line and put the price in writing. No obligation.
